Welcome to Pett. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Pett, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Description of Service

Pett is a pet management and social discovery app that lets you track pet health, coordinate care with others, find nearby veterinarians, and connect with other pet owners.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You may not share your account with others or use another user's account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (pet photos, health records, etc.). By using Pett, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and transmit that content solely to provide the service. You represent that you have the right to submit all content you provide and that it does not violate any third-party rights.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
• Upload content that is harmful, abusive, or infringes on others' rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
• Use the app to send spam or unsolicited communications.
• Impersonate any person or entity.

6. Not Veterinary Advice

Pett is not a veterinary service. The medication tracking, health records, and other features are tools to help you organize pet care information. They are not a substitute for professional veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for medical questions about your pet.

7. Shared Pet Access

When you invite others to co-manage a pet, you grant them access to that pet's profile and health data within the permissions you set. You are responsible for managing who you invite and their level of access.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days, except as required by law.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Pett is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of Pett shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data or harm to your pet resulting from reliance on app content.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
